Welcome to Square One
Clint and Sharold both grew up in North Missouri. We were High School Sweethearts who by a series of strange events got separated after High School. Sharold moved South & spent 27 years in Mississippi until Clint found her 4 years ago. It didn’t take long and ultimately she moved back home to Missouri where they have started their lives and relationship over at Square 1.
Having both come from farm families, cattle weren’t foreign territory to them but they wanted something special and out of the ordinary, of the local beef producers. Lots of discussion, research and dreaming led to a small purchase of pasture art which changed everything. Since then, they have completely fallen in love with the Texas Longhorn Breed and have dedicated their program to breeding an all-around colorful herd of sound, strong and solidly conformed animals with docile temperament with competitive horn growth. It is their hope to catch the attention of the most experienced and best breeders in the industry and the respect of our Midwest beef competitors.
